Due to its privileged geographical position, natural beauty and tranquility, the village has
attracted many Cypriots and foreigners to live in it. Armou [Armou] is a village in the Paphos
region. The village of Armou is built on the slopes of a mountain at an altitude of 350 meters
above sea level, 6 kilometers from the center of Paphos. Armou offers incredible sea views from
Petra tou Romiou to Coral Bay.
The area has been inhabited since pre-Christian times, and the artifacts found during the
excavations are kept in the Paphos Museum. The village of Armou most likely got its name from
the first settler of the area, called “Armos”.
The Minthis Hills Golf Course is a 7 km drive from Armou.
